Example: you have 200 grams cheese (total amount = 200) with 55% of fat (percent absolute = 55). So the cheese contains 110 grams of fat (amount absolute = 110). If you eat one fourth of the cheese (percent relative = 25), you have eaten 27.5 grams of fat (amount relative=27.5).
