Gray Tone - Calculator

Calculator for the gray tone of a color from the hexadecimal color values. The gray tone is a measure for the apparent brightness of a color. It is calculated using the differently or equally weighted proportions of red, green and blue. When weighted different, green is weighted the most, because it lies in the middle of the visible spectrum and is therefore best perceived by the human eye.
