Amalthea is the ruddiest object in our solar system due to sulfur emissions of Io.
It has two craters of 90 km diameter each and must have been much bigger once.

Distance to Jupiter: 181 995 km
Mass: 2.1 * 1018 kg
Diameter: 172 km
Orbit period: 11.92 hours
