Dark Galaxy VIRGOHI 21

VIRGOHI 21 is the first dark matter galaxy that has been discovered. It contains about 1 percent of neutral hydrogen. The rest is dark matter, something of which we still don't know what it really is. It can only be perceived by its gravitational influence on its vicinity.

Constellation: Virgo
Distance: circa 50 million light-years
Mass: > 10 billion * Sun
