Galaxy NGC 772

The giant spiral galaxy has an elliptc dwarf of the type E3 as companion. This deforms one of the spirals' arms. In the year 2003 in NGC 772 two Supernovae were discovered within only three weeks.

Diameter: 250 000 light-years
