Vega

A yellow-white star which is quite good visible with the naked eye.
It is surrounded by a dust disk which probably contains a Neptune sized planet. This would make Vega very similar to our solar system. Unfortunately due to its size the life span of Vega is too short to evolve intelligent life.
New perceptions show us that the dust disk could have formed due to a collision of two planets.

Vega is rotating extremely fast, with 93% of the highest possible speed of such stars. Only a little faster and it would be disrupted.
