S Doradus

The LBV S Doradus isn't part of our Milky Way, but is the brightest star in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Its surface temperature is lower than this of most other LBVs, but it is bigger in size. Nonetheless it is the prototype for the Luminous Blue Variables which are also known as S Dor - Stars.
Melnick 42 could be even brighter than S Doradus.
