RY Sagittarii

The yellow supergiant RY Sagittarii is one of the rare R Coronae Borealis stars. It has a large envelope and 30 AU away from it is a dust cloud from a former eruption. In such eruptions temperature cools down so much that carbon dust forms and eclipses the star.
