HE1327-2326

The oldest known star originated shortly after the Big Bang. It contains only a 1/300 000 of the heavy elements compared to the Sun. Its age was discovered in April 2005. So it replaces HE0107-5240 as oldest and most metal depleted star.

Mass: < 1 * Sun
